High temperature resistance: It has high temperature resistance characteristics. The continuous use temperature is 260 °C. If 30% of GF or CF is added to enhance its performance, it can reach 316 °C.
Mechanical properties, bearings have good toughness and rigidity, can fit with alloy materials, have excellent fatigue resistance, and have high compressive strength in a wide temperature range, which can help miniaturize components and increase loads.
Self-lubricating property: without lubricant, it has very good sliding properties, suitable for low friction coefficient and wear resistance. The stable coefficient of friction (CoF) under dry conditions can be as low as 0.05. NVH performance can be improved by reducing vibration frequency with plain bearings or by reducing sound pressure with rolling bearing assemblies.
